Impact-first principle

We support projects with significant and measurable societal impact. Our focus is to assist in scaling the impact and drive the project's social mission.

Financial support

We offer financial support for social enterprises in the form of different financial structures, ranging from flexible loans, mezzanine financing to direct investments. The specific structure and the conditions are adapted to the individual needs of the project. Moreover, we cooperate with a network of potential social co-investors.

Tailor-made consulting

We provide non-financial support according to the specific needs of the project - cooperation with experts, pro bono partners, strategic consultations, etc.

Partnership

We want to be a partner and we will make all efforts to help the supported companies to successfully fulfil their social mission.

MIWA Technologies developed a modern system for the distribution and sale of unwrapped goods that can save up to 90% of packaging material compared to today’s disposable packaging system. The main objective of MIWA (Minimum Waste) is to eliminate disposable packaging waste throughout the whole supply chain from manufacturer to household. The system works on the principle of reuse, based on reusable shipping capsules and special sales racks, smart technologies and reusable containers. Since its foundation in 2015 by Petr Báča, the company has received several international awards, such as winning the European Social Innovation Competition 2019 by the European Commission, and as the only Czech project it has won the prestigious New Plastics Economy Innovation Prize given by the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, a world authority in the field of the circular economy.

DOT Glasses project has brought a radical new concept for prescription eyeglasses. Poor vision hinders children’s educational development and negatively impacts adult’s productivity at work or even the ability to work. Previous attempts were made to address this issue, but by and large, the solutions were too complex or too costly to scale globally. DOT Glasses has introduced a patented, snap-together, adjustable frame that has been designed by MBtech, a joint venture of Mercedes Benz and AKKA Technologies, bringing a fresh and functional approach to a classical product. The DOT Glasses solution provides a standardized set of lens powers combined with the one-size-fits-all frames. This enables the lowest end-to-end cost solution for getting people to their perfect vision. Solution needed by more than 1 billion people around the globe.
